
Touch-type, read, spell is a touch-typing programme
specifically designed for students with underdeveloped literacy skills.
Children learn to associate touch typing finger movements with phonic
spelling patterns developing efficient touch typing skills (an essential
skill in today’s computer age) and excellent reading and spelling
skills. The programme works at the child’s pace and provides
regular, consistent and positive feedback. Children attending one
hour per week would take approximately one year to complete the programme
but a certificate of congratulations outlining progress to date is
awarded after every 12 sessions.
