COUNSELLING SERVICES FOR CHILDREN, TEENAGERS AND PARENTS

Brain Train provides a counselling service to deal with the range of social, emotional and behavioural issues that occur for children, adolescents and their families from time to time.

In our experience children with learning difficulties often experience difficulties with self-esteem and a lack of confidence, and in some instances develop significant issues with anxiety and depression. This in turn can lead to further social difficulties, behaviour problems and school refusal.

In addition, parents of children with learning difficulties can often benefit from support in coming to terms with a diagnosis, learning how to support their child emotionally and how to implement effective behaviour management techniques at home.
